New Moon in Cancer

This new moon, our collective card is the

Page of Cups

All up in your feels? I sure am. So much so that this is the shortest podcast episode to date, with a sweet little message:

Trust all that you know and reach for all you have yet to learn.

This is really a message from all the pages, but with this friend of Cups (or Philosopher of Moons as per the deck I drew from), we're talking emotion, intuition, dream. Part of the funkiness of intuition is that some of us never really get used to our internal voices or those external messages. For some of us, or at certain times in our lives, intuition sounds new every time. Doesn't make it any less worthy of a being heard.

Episode Transcript:

Hello and welcome to The Ecstatic Rabbit Podcast, a space for esoteric exploration, heartfelt insight and expansive curiosity. I'm your host and the founder of Ecstatic Rabbit Tarot + Coaching, Sarah Corbyn Woolf.

We're here for the new moon in Cancer and right in line with the shadowy, squishy, crab-shell goodness of the season, I don't really have much time or space to do a super in-depth episode for you. Part of what I love about doing this podcast is that I really trust you, my listeners, to run with what I throw your way. I think I set it up from the get go that that's kind of how I roll. And you're along with me for the ride and I'm so grateful.

So new moon in Cancer. Any number of resources you can look at to learn a little more about that. But suffice to say, your girl's in her feelings this week. So I'm just going to go ahead and pull us a card and that's it. No ad this time. So let's see what we have coming up. All right. The philosopher of moons. I'm working with the Wanderers Tarot, so this card, the way I understand it, corresponds to the page of cups. Oh wow. Well, clearly we have water on water on water with those cups, moons, and Cancer season. And even a new moon feels very watery to me in that sort of murky depths of the unknown, blah, blah, blah. The page, or this philosopher, is full of ideas and eagerness and excitement to understand the world, but also knows very well that they know nothing.

Now, that's a bit of a overstatement. They don't know nothing. Maybe they don't articulate things quite. They are certainly new to the evolution that they're in, but they carry with them, right, like all the pages, they carry with them, evolutions. Many, many evolutions' worth of experience in their particular field, this time being that of water, of moons, of cups, of emotion and intuition and dream. So this philosopher of moons is ready to reach for the unknown. Ready to dive deep and sputter a little bit. And maybe they don't have so much practice at their, you know, holding their breath and maybe they're not scuba certified, but they'll get there and they're just ready and eager.

And they correspond with Earth, as well, the pages. So there's this rootedness in their desire and their momentum. They're ready to grow, but they are deeply rooted to start out. So if you are also in those juicy, juicy feels, know that you can be new to these feelings while also carrying with you all the experience, memory, knowledge, understanding all the lessons that you've learned about your emotions, your intuition. And if there are times when you feel suspended between what you already know and what you have yet to learn, you're not alone because I'm right there with you.

That's it for this week. I love you all dearly. Thank you for the space to make this project-- to let it fit into my life rather than me needing to fit my life into it. I hope that you have the space to do the same with your projects right now, and I will see you next time for whatever that might be. Until then.
